Is it just me, or has Amazon's user interface/shopping experience/checkout process become cluttered to the point of just being completely out of control?...

omg, yes! it is absolutely horrible. i actually canceled a couple purchases because of this... right in the middle of the process. why is it that e-commerce sites have totally abandoned the user experience considerations that they *obviously* need to be successful? they will end up cutting their own throats if they go down this road. it is ridiculous.
